Potato Dumplings






What You'll Need


  • one cup instant mashed potato flakes
  • one cup hot water
  • one teaspoon salt
  • tow eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

How to Make It


  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together potato flakes, water and salt.
  2. Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the eggs and flour.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until no longer sticky.
  5. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil.
  6. Separate the dough into approximately 6 dumplings.
  7. Carefully drop the dumplings into water and boil approximately 20 minutes until they rise to the top.
  8. Remove from water and drain.
